The short hair ventilating needle and holder set is a great tool to begin the ventilation process.  The needle and holder and permanently attached.  The stainless steel needle is available in size N1-2 and N3-4.  The plastic holder is durable and comfortable.
 
Great starter tool if you do not plan to frequently change your needle size!
