Thin skin wig cap base wig making - This skin base  is great for making toupees, hairpieces and closures. The "skin" material  can be lightly tinted to blend with your client's complexion.
 
The foundation will become more transparent to keep once adhesive is applied.
 
When purchased, the skin base will be lightly coated with a sheer powder to keep the base from sticking to itself.  When applying, the smooth side should be placed against your skin.
 
For hair ventilation, we suggest that the skin ventilating needle  or slide and punch needles are used.
 
Recommended ventilation methods are lift injection, regular injection, v-looping  and single knotting.
 
**Please note that the base will not cover an entire head. The base can be cut and shaped to create a toupee, custom closure with skin part or a hairpiece.**
